Massive drop in mobile phone prices in Lahore markets

Prices of mobile phones have been slashed from 20 to 40 percent in the markets of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to report, a mobile phone worth Rs100,000 has become Rs65000 while a mobile phone costing Rs64000 is available in Rs50000 in city markets.

Moreover, a smart mobile phone worth of Rs50000 is now available in R35000 to Rs38000.

In this regard, traders said that a worth Rs20000 smart phone is now also available for consumers.

They said that phones with keypads also became cheaper and the minimum price of the keypad phone has come down to Rs1800.
