An agreement between Ministry of Education and National Institute of Psychology has been signed to launch remedial therapy services in 346 educational institutions, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The initiative is for students with learning difficulties under Dyslexia Bill 2022.

A team of 60 remedial therapists and three coordinators will be deployed.

Students will be provided with diagnostic testing and research-based support.

There is also a plan to enhance the capacity of teachers by providing psychological services.

This is government’s important step to promote inclusive and equitable education.
