Pakistani Consulate in Jeddah starts issuing e-Passports

Pakistani Consulate Jeddah introduces e-Passports with advanced security, biometric verification, and faster immigration processing, reported 24 News HD TV Channel on Wednesday.
A spokesman of the Pakistani Consulate in Jeddah said that the e-Passport has the quality to secure data through laser printing and micro-chip technology.
He said that other prominent features are also included in the e-Passport. Now, Pakistani citizens can avail the facility of E-gate for immigration after obtaining an e-Passport.
The spokesman further said that the e-Passport is as per international standards, and an immediate data matching facility is also available at the airports.
