Punjab CM visits Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Rahim Yar Khan
Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid a visit to Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Rahim Yar Khan on Thursday.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the chief minister inspected the new cardiac centre of Sheikh Zayed Hospital and expressed his gratitude to the UAE for building this centre.
He ordered the upgrade of the nursing hostel. The chief minister also took rounds of OPD, Oncology and other wards. He interacted with patients and their attendants. He inquired about the health facilities being provided to them.
Ministers Amir Mir and Ibrahim Murad, secretaries and other officials were also present.
Cops commended
The chief minister enquired after police and farmers were injured in an operation against criminals in the Kachha area.
The injured constables are Naveed Akhtar, Jameel Ahmed, Muhammad Imran, Abdul Razzaq, Asif Ali and Muhammad Sarwar.
The chief minister commended the cops for showing bravery in maintaining the writ of the state.
He issued directives to provide the injured with the best medical facilities.
Beacon of hope for South Punjab
Also, the chief minister visited the Cardiology Hospital in DGK and termed it a beacon of hope for South Punjab.
Taking to social media, he added the upcoming 136-bed facility, scheduled to be operational by December, under Multan Institute of Cardiology's management, promises enhanced healthcare.
