Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori visited the shrine of Data Darbar in Lahore, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
He prayed for property in Pakistan.”I cannot describe in words the peace of mind that I got here at the shrine, he told the media.
He added: “Once the City of Lights Karachi was a commercial hub, but now it has been facing challenges. It lacks basic facilities like water, gas and electricity.
He stressed the need for national harmony and unity to cope with the challenges. “I want everyone to have a consensus. I will work to bring together all groups of MQM."
The PPP should sign the agreement with MQM to keep its word, he said, adding that if the promises are not fulfilled, MQM Pakistan will be free to take its own decision.
He continued: "I met Punjab CM and Governor. I will come again after a week.
"I have meetings with PM Shehbaz Sharif after becoming governor.
"Shehbaz Sharif was told that MQM is complaining that PPP is not keeping its word.
"The PM assured that the matter will be raised with Asif Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto."
