Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari greeted the nation on the arrival of the New Year, hoping 2023 will a year of development and prosperity, 24News HD TV channel reported on Saturday. 

In his message, former president Asif Ali Zardari said that Benazir Bhutto Shaheed's philosophy has proved that terrorism can be eradicated only by democracy.” 

He vowed to rehabilitate the flood-hit people and get rid of terrorism. 

“It is our promise that we will wipe out the terrorists and make our land a cradle of peace.

“I assure the nation that PPP will give future generations a society free from all kinds of fear. 

“The PPP wiped out the terrorists and raised its head again in Swat valley.

“The most painful thing for me is that in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan terrorists are once again martyring our children, officers and soldiers.”
