Fire breaks out in Punjab Institute of Cardiology in Lahore

A fire broke out in the emergency block of Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) in Lahore on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to PIC administration, the blaze was triggered due to short-circuit in air-conditioner’s switch.
The fire was brought under control by the administration on its own.
It may be mentioned here that during the whole episode the treatment of the patients in the emergency block was not suspended and it went on unhindered.
The sooner the blaze was extinguished the situation returned to normal.
