Why did senior actor Nauman Ijaz slap Raeed Muhammad?

Pakistani actor Raeed Muhammad Alam recently shared a behind-the-scenes story from the early days of his acting career in a podcast interview.

The actor recalled how veteran actor Nauman Ijaz helped him overcome a major challenge while filming an emotional scene.

Raeed admitted that when he first entered the industry, crying on cue was one of the biggest hurdles he faced as an actor.

"I was doing a scene with Nauman bhai where I had to cry, but I just couldn't," he recalled.

"We did one take, then another, then a third, but the tears simply wouldn't come."

Raeed said he eventually turned to the director and jokingly admitted that he did not know how to cry for the scene.

The actor then shared the incident that has since become a memorable lesson in his career.

According to Raeed, an unexpected slap suddenly came his way, leaving him genuinely emotional.

"A slap came, and I performed the entire scene crying," he said.

The clip also shows the host asking whether glycerin could have been used to create the tears, but the conversation ends before Raeed responds in detail.
