Former AJK Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas visited Jinnah House, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

He said Lahore is known as a city of loving and lively people but visiting Jinnah House saddened him.

No amount of condemnation was enough, he said adding that the army has always steered the state out of crisis.

It is the guarantor of the country’s security, he stressed.

He said his ties with ex-PM Chaudhry Shujaat are different from politics. 

“I always go for deliberations with him. We have a complete plan to take the country out of the political turmoil under the guidance of Chaudhry Shujaat.

"I did not say that I will join the Muslim League. I just said that I will take any decision in consultation with Chaudhry Shujaat.

"I always knew that Chaudhry Shujaat is a great man. Whatever I do in the future, I will do it in consultation with Chaudhry Shujaat.
