ISPR releases promo for Pakistan Day

Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a promo video for Pakistan Day to be celebrated on March 23.

The fifteen seconds clip starts with a beautiful design of Pakistan’s map that turns in to the flag. It carries a message of ‘One Nation, One Destiny.’

Last year, Pakistan postponed the Pakistan Day parade due to the sudden outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

However, in his recent press conference marking the completion of four years of Operation Raddul Fissad, DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar had said that this year Pakistan Day would be marked with the traditional zeal.

The NCOC has already announced lifting most of the restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus in the country from March 15, paving the way for holding a ceremony on March 23.

Pakistan Day is a national holiday in Pakistan commemorating the Lahore Resolution passed on 23 March 1940 and the adoption of the first constitution of Pakistan during the transition of the Dominion of Pakistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on 23 March 1956 making Pakistan the world’s first Islamic republic. A Republic Day parade by the armed forces is often part of the celebrations.
