Raja Basharat files contempt of court plea against Maryam Nawaz in SC

Pakistan Tarheek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Mohammad Basharat Raja on Saturday filed a contempt of court petition in the Supreme Court against Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for using national exchequer and resources on personal publicity, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In his application, the petitioner stated that on September 2, 2022, the Supreme Court had ordered not to use national kitty and resources for personal publicity.
The petitioner adopted the stance that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz committed contempt of court by violating these orders.
He prayed to Supreme Court to initiate contempt of court proceedings against Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
