MP3 player blast claims child’s life in Qila Abdullah

A child lost his life when an MP3 player exploded in his house in Qila Abdullah area of Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The incident took place in the Tot Masay Zai area of Qila Abdullah.

Police said that the child found an MP3 player outside his home, and he brought it into his home.

Suddenly, the MP3 player exploded, after which the younger brother of the deceased and his mother became critically injured.

Soon after receiving the report, the police team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured persons to the hospital.

Earlier in May 2025, a powerful explosion rocked the Jabar Market in the Gulistan area of Qila Abdullah, leaving at least four people dead and eight others injured. 

The blast was so intense that multiple shops in the market collapsed, and several vehicles parked nearby were destroyed. Eyewitnesses said the explosion was heard from a considerable distance, triggering panic and fear across the locality.
