Three slain in clash over hospital construction in Hangu

Three people lost their lives during a firing incident between two groups over the construction of a government hospital in Hangu on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

District Police Officer (DPO) Tariq Habib said the incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Tall Police Station in Hangu.

The DPO further stated that during the exchange of fire, three people, including former Tehsil Nazim of Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Islam Payo Zar Khan, died and one other person received injuries.

DPO Tariq Habib said that two people from one group and one from the other group lost their lives.

He said that a dispute arose between them on the construction of BHU Hospital in Chapri Waziran.

Soon after receiving the report, a police contingent rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured persons to the local hospital.

After registering a case, the police team began an investigation.
