Three die after coach collides with car in Khairpur
Three persons were killed while over four were seriously wounded after a passenger coach collided with a car on the National Highway connecting Khairpur to Gambat, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Rescue officials said those who died were a little girl, a man and a woman.
The man was identified as Niaz Muhammad, a resident of Waziristan, while the identity of the remaining two individuals was yet to be ascertained.
Police said they had shifted the dead as well as the injured to a local hospital.
On March 24, a man and his five-year-old son died on the spot when a speeding truck hit their motorcycle near Kot Diji Mehmood Shah Stop in Khairpur.
The deceased were later identified as Khadim Phulpotto and his son Shakeel. Soon after receiving the report, a police team reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to Civil Hospital.
The driver, however, managed to flee from the spot.
