Couple of days ago, a massive fire broke out in Lunda Bazaar of Pattoki, reducing about 26 shops to ashes.
Bales of shoes, second-hand clothes and other goods were also burnt in the fire.
Soon after receiving the report, a Rescue 1122 team, along with an ambulance and six vehicles, reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
Rescue officials said the fire erupted due to an electrical short-circuit. The officials further said that after extinguishing the fire cooling process was under way.
