Punjab CM Maryam salutes women joining Border Military Police
Paying tributes to the females joining the Border Military Police, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Saturday said that 53 females by joining the Force in Rajanpur and Dera Ghazi Khan had created history, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a tweet on a social media platform, X, she wrote that in a Force where the presence of women was once simply unthinkable, now courageous women are joining it with dignity.
For the first time, 53 courageous women have been recruited into the Border Military Police in DG Khan and Rajanpur, stepping into roles once thought impossible.

She further said that she was ecstatic that these women in uniform would now perform the duties of defenders. “I salute these women who have broken the shackles of old, outdated customs and are marching ahead.”
