Cylinder blast triggers fire in Defence laundry shop

A fire broke out in a garments factory located in Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate Kot Lakhpat in Lahore on Thursday.
Rescue 1122 fire hydrants have rushed to the site and launched the operation to extinguish the fire, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained.
Hours later, Rescue officials said they have been able to douse the fire completely and there was no loss of life in the incident.
It was, however, reported that the cloth stocks inside the garments factory were reduced to ashes.
In another incident, a gas cylinder was exploded in a laundry shop in the Defence area on Thursday morning triggering a fire.
No one was injured as the Rescue personnel rushed to the site and put off the fire which started in the laundry shop located in Y-Block, Phase-III of the Defence area.
