US dollar gains 92 paisas against Pakistani rupee

The US dollar resumed its upward journey against the Pakistani rupee as it gained 92 paisas on Thursday in the inter-bank trading, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The US dollar was steady with an increase of two paisas only when the inter-bank business was set into motion on Thursday morning but later it picked up pace.
The greenback’s new rate was Rs176.40 after the increase of 92 paisas.
Forex traders said the US dollar exchange rate on Wednesday was Rs175.48 and on Tuesday it was at Rs175.72.

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in its daily exchange rate update said that the Pakistan rupee appreciates when a lesser amount of Rupees is required to get on USD. On the other hand, Pakistan Rupee depreciates when more rupees are required to get one USD.
