The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) lassoed three accused in operations against drug smuggling in different areas of the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the ANF sources, the ANF officials recovered capsules filled with ice drug from a Qatar-bound passenger at Islamabad International Airport.

The accused was going to Qatar through QR-0633 flight, and he was concealing the capsules inside his belly. He was a resident of Khyber district.

In another operation, the ANF arrested an accused of Mardan at Peshawar Motorway Toll Plaza and recovered from him 34.8 kilograms of opium and 8.4 kilograms of hashish.

The ANF also impounded his car in which he was smuggling the drugs into Punjab from Peshawar.

Also, the ANF conducted an operation in Multan and seized 2.4 kilograms of opium from an accused of Bahawalnagar.

Separate cases were registered against the accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
