Shehbaz Sharif says he will present evidence in court

Opposition Leader in the National Assembly and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has said that he will present evidence during the cross-examinations of the assets beyond means case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking in the court during the hearing on Tuesday, Shehbaz Sharif said he wanted to say something about Transparency International (report), on which, the accountability judge Jawad Ul Hassan stopped him from speaking other than the case.
Shehbaz Sharif said the level of corruption during the PML-N government came down and yet they (government) call PML-N thieves.
The accountability court in Lahore heard the money laundering and assets beyond means case against PML-N leaders Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shehbaz on Tuesday. Both father and son were presented before the court amid strict security measures.
The PML-N leader thanked the court for establishing the medical board but necessary tests have not been conducted yet. “We put our efforts in as all the development was not done by magic tricks. They did not prove any corruption against us,” Shehbaz Sharif insisted.
Senate elections
PML-N Chairman Raja Zafar-ul-Haq who came to the accountability court Lahore court to show solidarity met Shehbaz Sharif, met the party president and consulted him regarding the upcoming Senate elections. He also informed Shehbaz Sharif about other ongoing issues.
