Security forces have killed at least 22 more India-backed militants during ongoing counterterrorism operations in Balochistan, raising the total number of militants eliminated over the past three days to 177, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to security sources, sanitisation and follow-up operations against attackers belonging to what they described as “Fitna-e-Hindustan” continued across multiple areas of the province.

The latest casualties were reported during pursuit operations carried out overnight, during which security forces engaged militant hideouts and movement routes.

Security sources stated that over the last three days, a minimum of 177 militants have been killed in various intelligence-based and ground operations.

They added that security forces, including intelligence agencies and police, have further tightened the cordon around militant networks and their facilitators at several locations.

Officials also reported indications of additional losses suffered by militants and their support elements, although details were still being verified.

The security forces' operations are aimed at dismantling militant infrastructure and preventing further attacks in the province.
