FBR revises property valuation rates in Islamabad

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Monday increased property valuation rates in Islamabad and issued a notification setting new prices for plots and residential buildings across various sectors of the capital.

According to the revised valuation, the value of occupied plots in B-17 has been set at Rs 30,000 per square foot, while unoccupied plots in the same sector are valued at Rs 15,000 per square foot.

In Sector C-14, plot prices have been fixed at Rs 30,000 per square foot, while in Sector C-15 the rate has been set at Rs 25,000 per square foot. Sector D-12 has seen plot valuation set at Rs 130,000 per square foot.

Among the higher-end sectors, plots in Sector E-7 are now valued at Rs 225,000 per square foot. In Sector E-11, prices range between Rs 70,000 and Rs 100,000 per square foot, while Sector E-12 plots are valued at Rs 56,000 per square foot.

For the F sectors, plots in F-6 and F-7 have been fixed at Rs 210,000 per square foot, F-8 at Rs 200,000 per square foot, and F-10 and F-11 at Rs 175,000 per square foot.

In the G sectors, the value of plots in G-6 has been set at Rs 180,000 per square foot, G-7 and G-8 at Rs 120,000 per square foot, and G-9 at Rs 130,000 per square foot.

The FBR has also set the value of residential buildings in Islamabad between Rs 6,500 and Rs 50,000 per square foot. A new property valuation has additionally been fixed for rural areas of the federal capital.
