Woman dies of wrong injection in Shakargarh

A woman breathed her last after administered a wrong injection by para-medical staff of Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) in Shakargarh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

The son of the woman who was later identified as Shehbaz said that he brought her 75-year-old mother to the emergency room because her health had deteriorated due to diabetes, and his mother reached the emergency room from the parking area of the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital on her own.

He further alleged that trainee staff administered her the wrong injection, after which she died.

Later, the woman's heirs and relatives staged a protest and demanded that the relevant authorities take stern action against the responsible parties.

On the other hand, doctors who were on duty said that the woman’s condition was not stable, as she was a diabetic patient when she was brought to the hospital.
