Man killed his former mother-in-law as she resisted his bid to kidnap her daughter in the Kamoke area of Gujranwala district in Punjab, 24Nrews HD TV channel reported on Saturday.

Khabiur Rahman along with his accomplices allegedly attempted to kidnap his former wife when the mother of the latter stood in their way.

The accused attacked her and left her dead on the spot. Police reached the site and registered a case.

The lawmen said they are piecing together evidence and a hunt for the arrest of suspected killers.
