Three shot dead in two encounters with Lahore police

Three dacoits breathed their last after receiving bullet wounds during two separate police encounters in Kahna and Shahdara areas of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to details, the Crime Control Department (CCD) team raided a location after receiving information that two motorcyclists were committing robbery. 

During the CCD raid, the accused started firing on the raiding party. During heavy exchange of firing, the accused who were later identified as Fazlur Rehman, aged 55, and Amir Abbas, 25, were killed. 

Both accused became seriously injured by the firing of their colleagues, while their two colleagues escaped from the scene.

Later, the injured accused were being shifted to the hospital, but they died on the way to the hospital.

CCD sources further revealed that both the dead accused were father and son.

CCD constituted different teams to apprehend the culprits who fled from the scene. Both the dead accused were involved in some serious criminal cases.

One killed in police encounter in Shahdara

In another police encounter, one accused was dead by the firing of his colleagues in Shahdara.

A police party was taking the accused to a location for recovery when his colleagues started firing on the police party.

During the exchange of fire, the accused was hit with serious bullets and died.
