Imran Khan urges nation to come out of ‘state of fear’

Former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan said on Thursday that the nation which did not come out of the state of fear risked becoming a slave of others, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a massive public gathering at Basham in Shangla district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), he said that there was an objective behind the creation of Pakistan. 

He said that while on one hand, India had reduced the petrol prices by Rs25 per litre same was not the case here in Pakistan since unlike India the latter’s foreign policy was not independent. “That is why our neighbouring country has purchased oil from Russia at rates 30 per cent cheaper than normal rates,” he said, and regretted that the reason why Pakistan was not buying oil from Russia because it was looking to the USA for its permission.  

Former prime minister once again made the mention of a Pakistani delegation’s visit to Israel in recent days. “There was a foreign conspiracy behind the ouster of PTI government,” Imran said, and alleged that the coalition government was enforcing the foreign agenda in the country. 

He again ridiculed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s statement, which he had made during a speech at Mansehra, and in which he had said that he would not feel shy from selling his clothes in order to fulfill wheat requirements of the people of KP.
