Another Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf miscreant involved in the May 9 riots was identified, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The video of PTI leader Syed Muhamad Nazim Abbas surfaced on the media in which he could be seen damaging the government property and military installations. He played a key role in the attacks of May 9.
Abbas is a PTI leader from PP-95 Chiniot and a resident of Nisar Colony, Lahore.
The process of identification of other miscreants involved in the violent incidents of May 9 is also going on.
In the video, it could be seen that Abbas participated vigorously and aggressively in protests and was at the forefront of vandalism and attacks. He was raising anti-army slogans and patronizing other miscreants during May 9 tragedy.
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Thursday sent 25 PTI workers to jail on six-day judicial remand for identification parade in cases registered under Anti-Terrorism Act for attacking and torching Corps Commander House in Lahore on May 9.
On Tuesday, another 260 suspects in the May 9 attack on Jinnah House were identified by the investigator. The suspects were traced from the WhatsApp groups of those already detained since the arson attack during protest against the arrest of former prime minister Imran Khan.
The police collected videos and messages shared in the groups and through them identified more suspects in the incident. The authorities had initially focused on compiling a list of suspects using mobile phone locations through geo-fencing and identification from the videos and photos of the incident.
