Mansha Pasha in tears, prays for safe return of abducted hubby Jibran Nasir

Prominent Pakistani actress Mansha Pasha’s has claimed that her husband Jibran Nasir has been abducted by armed men in Karachi on Thursday night.

The actress shared this news through a video statement in which she said about 15 unidentified armed men abducted her husband last night, when they were returning from a dinner.

During the video message Mansha said: “We (I & my husband) were returning home from dinner, when suddenly a big white Vigo car intercepted and almost crushed us, from which 15 armed men came out and forcefully took away my husband away.”

While sharing the heart-wrenching incident, the tearful Mansha called for prayers and said: “My husband is a renowned lawyer, who gives a lot to this country. You all are aware of my husband’s efforts. I request you all to raise voice and pray for my husband's safe return.

It is pertinent to mention here some media reports claiming that Mansha Pasha’s husband Jibran Nasir has criticized the recent state crackdown on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party and legal proceedings concerning individuals allegedly involved in riots that somehow linked to his kidnapping.

SHCBA condemns Jibran’s aduction

Sindh High Court Bar Association on Friday strongly condemned the alleged abduction of Jibran Nasir which it described as an obstacle in way of supremacy of law.

In a statement, the Bar demanded police and other law-enforcement agencies to immediately launch an inquiry into the incident and safe recovery of Jibran Nasir.
