Final notice issued for degree verification at PTV Headquarters

Pakistan Television (PTV) has issued a notice that all regular, contractual, and professional employees will be required to have their degrees verified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), reported 24NewsHD TV on Monday.

Despite the January 31 deadline, many employees have not complied with the instructions. As a result, submission of copies of HEC-verified degrees within one week has been made mandatory with strict disciplinary action to be taken against those who fail to comply within the given time frame, according to the PTV administration.

Failure to complete the degree verification process may also result in termination of employment, the administration warned.

The Director of Administration has instructed all employees to complete their degree verification immediately, a directive which PTV management has forwarded to all centers along with requests for compliance reports.

The PTV administration emphasized that negligence in the degree verification process will not be tolerated, adding that, according to the law, degree verification is a fundamental requirement of the organization.
