Two ‘dacoits’ killed in police encounter in Faisalabad

Two ‘dacoits’, allegedly involved in the target killings of two persons, including a woman, were killed reportedly in a police encounter in the limits of Millat Town police station in Faisalabad on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Police said cops deployed at the CCD checkpoint signaled four dacoits to stop. 

But instead of stopping, they resorted to firing, the police said, adding the cops retaliated due to which two dacoits were injured, who later passed away at Allied Hospital.

The Force further said that the slain dacoits were identified as Saif and Pervaiz.

15 wounded in accident at Chak Jhumra

As many as 15 people were injured when a truck hit the rear side of a passenger van, heading from Talagang to Faisalabad, at Chak Jhumra toll plaza on Monday.

Rescue 1122 employees provided first aid to 10 passengers and shifted five, namely Ifitikhar, Mian Muhammad, Muneer Hussain, Rasheed and Arshad to Allied Hospital.
