Kuwait lauds Pakistan's role in US-Iran engagement during Dar's call with foreign minister

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar Tuesday held a telephone conversation with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, during which the two sides discussed regional and international developments and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.

According to the Foreign Office, the Kuwaiti foreign minister appreciated Pakistan's role in facilitating engagement between the United States and Iran and praised Islamabad's constructive efforts aimed at promoting regional peace and stability.

During the conversation, the two foreign ministers exchanged views on the evolving regional and international situation and discussed ongoing diplomatic efforts to address key challenges.

Dar reiterated Pakistan's support for diplomacy and continued engagement as the preferred path toward achieving sustainable peace and stability in the region, the Foreign Office said.

Both sides expressed hope that ongoing diplomatic initiatives would yield positive results and contribute to lasting peace.

The two countries also agreed to further strengthen their brotherly relations and maintain close contact on matters of mutual interest, according to the Foreign Office.
