Saudi Arabia bars visit visa holders from performing Hajj, says permit mandatory
Saudi Arabia has said that aspirants holding visit visas will not be allowed to perform the Hajj pilgrimage, stressing that only those with official Hajj permits will be eligible.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, performing Hajj without the required authorization is strictly prohibited under existing regulations.
Officials said all pilgrims must obtain an official “Hajj permit” and comply with established rules and procedures during the pilgrimage season.
The Interior Ministry warned that violators would face strict legal action, and urged all pilgrims to cooperate fully with authorities to ensure safety, security, and orderly management during Hajj operations.
