LHC Justice Shahid to hear plea against smog tomorrow 

Lahore High Court is set to hear plea against rising smog on Monday (tomorrow). Justice Shahid Karim will hear review measures taken by Punjab Environment department to curb the smog in provincial capital and surrounding districts of the province, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

Meanwhile, Punjab Environment Ministry is taking actions on violation of environmental laws under the supervision of Deputy Director of Environment Ali Ejaz. 

Environment departments officials have demolished illegal Faridiya Steel Mill and recovered 2,000 kg of carbon and weapons recovered. 

Deputy Director of Environment Ali Ejaz said there was a zero tolerance policy against polluters. 

He said crackdown against industrial pollution across the city will be intensified. Deputy Director of Environment urged public to help the Environment Department by identifying illegal factories.
