Former female MPA accused of electricity theft in Lahore

A former member of the Punjab Assembly from Nawaz League Rukhsana Kausar has been caught stealing electricity from a direct supply line.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Wapda XEN of Mcload Road Division Lahore conducted a raid against the electricity theft in his area on Sunday.
Wapda division head Amjad Nagra told the media persons that when they conducted a raid, they found the former MPA stealing electricity from a direct wire.
The Wapda official said that the former MPA had installed a direct wire through a street light to power her house.
He confirmed that the electricity connection to her home has been disconnected and a case of electricity theft will be registered against her.
