The price of branded tea leaves has skyrocketed as the Utility Stores Corporation (USC) has jacked up rates of various items, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The genie of inflation is out of the bag once again leading to massive price hikes in various utility items.
According to a notification issues by USC on Friday, prices of branded tea leaves have increased by Rs400 per kilogram, rates of biscuits of different brands have also jacked up to Rs10 per packet, the prices of baby dry milk supplements have gone up from Rs300 to Rs800, and prices of spices of different brands have been increased by Rs20.
Prices of jams of different brands have been increased by up to Rs62. Prices of pickles of different brands have increased by Rs118 per bottle. The prices of ketchup, sauces, red chili powder, turmeric, and other spices have also been increased.
Following this, the price change notification for various brands has also been issued at utility stores. The additional prices will be applicable immediately.
