Newlywed couple shot dead in Jampur

A newlywed couple was shot dead by unknown gunmen in the Jampur area of District Rajanpur for ‘honour’, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.
The incident occurred in the Mohammadpur Dewan area of Jampur District, Rajanpur.
Police sources said that the couple, identified as Saqlain and Esha Bibi, were invited for the normalisation of the relationship by their relatives.
Police sources further said the dead bodies of the couple were shifted to the hospital for autopsy.
Soon after the incident, the accused escaped from the scene. 
It is necessary to mention here that the girl married the man of her choice after fleeing from her home. The relatives of the girl wanted to take revenge.
Police said that they are optimistic that all the accused will be apprehended.
