A one-minute silence will be observed across Pakistan at 9am on August 5 to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people on Youm-e-Istehsal.
The Cabinet Division issued a notification after receiving approval from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to the notification, the prime minister directed that the silence be observed nationwide as a mark of solidarity with Kashmiris on Youm-e-Istehsal.
