Celebrities condemn murder of Sri Lankan factory manager in Sialkot

The showbiz and celebrities across Pakistan have condemned the murder of a Sri Lankan manager who worked at a private factory on Wazirabad Road in Sialkot.

Pakistan film and TV actress Mahira Khan wrote on her Twitter account that, “Ashamed!! Sick to my stomach!! Looking at you @ImranKhanPTI for answers, for justice and to take away this menace from our country”.

Famous comedian Shafaat Ali also took to social media to condemn the Sialkot tragedy. He said, “Shame on us, Shame on those who brought this day on us”.

Popular YouTuber and novel actor Arslan Naseer (CBA) took to his Twitter account and stated: “Stop embarrassing Islam”

Ace all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez also condemned the attack of torturing the Sri Lankan factory manager to death and said, “Condemning horrific attack on a factory and shameful incident in Sialkot. As Pakistani I will call it a black day for our society”.

Pakistan singer, host and pilot Fakhr-e-Alam condemned the murder of the foreign manager by declaring the act as ‘shameful’.

Actress Mehwish Hayat expressed her condemnation by stating: “Words fail me. We as a nation need to hold our heads in shame. Do we really want to live in a country where mob rule is the norm and not the exception?? We look to @ImranKhanPTIfor swift action to stop this now”.

Meanwhile, top notch actress Ushna Shah urges PM Khan to make “ roohani madrasahs” and further radicalise what’s left of this country.
