Two girls among eight ‘kidnapped’ in Lahore

Eight people, including two girls, went missing within 24 hours in the provincial capital, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
Separate cases have been registered and investigations are on, the lawmen said.
According to police, a 12-year-old deaf and dumb boy disappeared from Green Town Edhi Home. A case was registered on the complaint of Edhi Home Supervisor Adil. The boy was sent from the Gujranwala Child Protection Bureau.
A girl, Rabia, was allegedly abducted from Allama Iqbal Town and police booked Akhtar, Rasheed and Muzammil in connection with the kidnaping charges.
Shehar Bano, a resident of Gujarpura, went to a local bazaar when unidentified people abducted her, a report said.
Zohaib of Millat Park also left the house but did not return, police said. According to police, Irshad and Zoya allegedly kidnapped Riaz from Gulshan Iqbal. Shahid, a resident of Sanda, left for Bahawalpur for labour but could not reach there.

Police say cases have been registered and investigation is on to secure the release of abductees.
