Earthquake jolts Sibi and Khuzdar

An earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale jolted Khuzdar and Sibi and their adjoining areas in Balochistan province late Tuesday night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The depth of the earthquake was recorded at 10 kilometers at Khuzdar.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Islamabad, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 50 kilometers southwest of Sibi and 80 kms northwest of Khuzdar at a depth of 10 kilometers.
People came out of their homes in panic and started reciting verses from the Holy Quran. No loss of life and property was reported from any part of Sibi and Khuzdar due to the earthquake.
The local administration and rescue agencies are closely monitoring the situation.
