Naib Qasid, who was wounded in NUML cylinder blast, dies
Sanaullah, the naib qasid, who had been injured in a cylinder blast due to gas leakage in the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad on Tuesday, succumbed to his wounds on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In-charge Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Burns Unit confirmed the death.
A gas cylinder explosion at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) had left a 22-year-old staff member critically injured, hospital sources confirmed on Tuesday.
The victim, identified as Sanaullah, an employee of grade four, sustained severe burn injuries in the blast.
Four people were injured and they have been taken to the hospital,” Islamabad Police spokesperson Jawad Taqi said about the NUML explosion.
According to eyewitness students, the blast occurred in the block situated in front of the Chinese Department.
Thick clouds of smoke were seen rising from the affected block.
The explosion caused fear and chaos, leading to a stampede-like situation as students rushed to escape the area.
