Holding Prime Minister Imran Khan and his associates responsible for the loss of Rs1,351 million due to supply of wheat grains to the Poultry Association at cheaper rates, Sindh Minister Ismail Rahoo on Thursday demanded the formation of a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to probe the matter, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
“I demand the formation of a JIT so that PM Imran and his partners in the crime could be exposed,” he said, adding it was imperative to ascertain on whose orders this was done. “There is one ‘financial scam’ after the other under the ‘incompetent’ Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government,” the minister said, adding had this happened in Sindh, the federal government would have left no stone unturned to bring a bad name to the provincial government.
