Military police lodge FIR against PTI leader’s dead father

What could be described as a weird incident, Dera Ghazi Khan Border Military Police in Karor Laal Esan registered an FIR against the father of former PTI MNA who had passed away seven years ago, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Abdul Wahid Khan Niazi, father of Abdul Majeed Khan Niazi, was wanted by the police in the case registered under the 16 maintenance of public order (MPO).

The incident, which has left people astonished, raises a question mark over the professionalism of the country’s law-enforcement agencies as such incidents are seldom heard of in other countries.
