Bodies of woman and three children found in Karachi identified

The bodies of a woman and her three children, recovered from a gutter on Mai Kolachi Road, Karachi, have been identified, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday. 

According to police officials, the deceased woman has been identified as Anila, while her children are 13-year-old Kashar, 12-year-old Hasnain, and 10-year-old Konain.

The woman was a resident of Kharadar, and police are currently searching for her husband.

Police said the family had left their home four days ago and went missing on New Year's night.

Anila’s sister confirmed the identification of the mother and her children. 

The family had recently moved to a rented flat in Kharadar. Authorities added that Anila and her husband Mukhtiar, were divorced.

The bodies have been taken to Sohrab Goth morgue for further investigation.

 Police are continuing their inquiries to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
