CJP Yahya Afridi chairs high-level meeting in Lahore

Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi arrived in Lahore on Saturday, where he chaired an important meeting at a guest house in GOR-1 to review the infrastructure of courts across Punjab.

The meeting was attended by Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court Aalia Neelam, Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman and other senior government and judicial officers.

During the session, the overall condition of court infrastructure in Punjab was reviewed, with a focus on the availability of facilities and the need for improvements to ensure better functioning of the judicial system.

Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman briefed the participants on existing facilities, ongoing projects and future plans related to court infrastructure.

Chief Justice Yahya Afridi emphasized the importance of providing adequate infrastructure and modern facilities in courts to improve access to justice and ensure efficient delivery of legal services. He directed the concerned authorities to address shortcomings and work towards upgrading judicial facilities across the province.
