PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz on Friday described the Lahore High Court’s decision to terminate judge Arshad Malik as a victory of truth and defeat of lies. The seven respected judges had made it clear how Nawaz Sharif was punished, she added.

Maryam said time had given its verdict on the innocence of the three-time prime minister and the most popular politician. The judiciary’s honour and justice demanded to also dispose of the stained verdicts of the stained judge, she noted.

“Justice is never incomplete,” said Maryam. The comprehensive justice demanded that his corrupt decisions were also declared null and void the way the corrupt judge had been removed, she added.

In another tweet, she said, “It is easy to give sermons on respect the constitution and law.”

It required the courage and heart of Nawaz to bow before law while leaving the ailing wife on death bed “despite knowing that you are innocent, knowing that repression and injustice is being committed”, Maryam noted.

“This is the country’s elected prime minister who sees his family and himself shattering, faces biggest possible loss, but keeps the constitution and law before everything,” said the PML-N vice-president who is the political scion of Nawaz.

“The patience of Nawaz Sharif emerged victorious, his steadfastness overcame oppression,” Maryam said while asking the followers to thank Almighty Allah for this success.
