Bail approved for 19 accused in November 26 cases

The Lahore High Court has granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers and leaders in connection with terror cases registered against them during the November 26 protest, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to the officials, the bail bonds were presented in the court of Judge Amjad Ali Shah of the Anti-Terrorism Court and were approved by a two-member bench of the Lahore High Court.

PTI lawyer Faisal Malik appeared in the court. He said that all legal requirements have been fulfilled and requested that a warrant for the release of the accused be issued.

He also shared that lawyers have submitted the bail bonds of the accused to the Anti-Terrorism Court.

The cases against PTI workers are registered in different police stations of Hassan Abdal and Attock.

Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur are also named in the cases.
