12 ships berthed at Port Qasim during last 24 hours

Trade activities at Port Mohammad Bin Qasim (PMBQ) are in full swing as 12 more cargo ships have been docked at the port during the last 24 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to details, Port Qasim handled 1,78.398 metric tons of cargo in just one day; on the other hand, ships were carrying 90,235 tons of cargo to different countries.

Handling of three containers was completed at Port Mohammad Bin Qasim as 88,153 metric tons of cargo was offloaded. Bulk cargo was also offloaded from four ships.

Loading and unloading of 4 liquid cargoes were also completed. Transportation of general cargo is underway from Port Mohammad Bin Qasim. 

Four ships have departed to complete their operations, while four more ships will depart from Port Mohammad Bin Qasim. Cargo handling operations will continue uninterrupted.
