Female student found dead at hostel in Islamabad’s seminary

An 18-year-old female seminary student was found dead in a hostel of a seminary within the jurisdiction of Islamabad's Aabpara Police Station on Friday.

The deceased Marwa Hussain, was a student at Jamia Hafsa and belonged to Upper Dir district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Police shifted the body to a hospital for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

According to investigators, no visible signs of torture or physical violence were found on the body during the initial examination. Police have launched an investigation into the incident and recorded statements of the female student from the hostel.

Authorities said the actual cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem report.
