Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has accepted the resignation of senior bureaucrat Ahad Cheema, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

The Prime Minister's Office said that PM has accepted the resignation of Ahad Cheema from January 4, 2022.

According to PMO, PM lauded the services of Ahad Cheema in public service delivery.

The Prime Minister's Office said that Ahad Cheema played an important role in the timely completion of various development projects.

Ahad Cheema was awarded Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Medal of Excellence) in recognition of his services, said the Prime Minister's Office.
